Have you considered:
 | | Night fishing for gummy shark requires extensive preparation.
During daylight hours, select the hole or gutter you choose to fish and leave markers in the sand dunes so as to identify it at night. Berly will help to attract schools of bait fish andcreate crab activity which in turn will induce bottom feeders.A running sinker rig weighted by a 4 ounce sinker with a 700-1000cm leader with 6/0 suicide hook is ideal. Best baits are bonito fillets
cut into long strips, octopus legs, whole pilchards, US squid and fresh fish fillets. | |
| | | As the inlet produces a wide variety of fish, it is important to take a variety of baits to suit.
Pinkie Snapper pilchard pieces and squid.
Trevally white bait and pilchard fillets.
Whiting are taking pipi, mussel and fresh bass yabbies.
