King Street Queenscliff VIC 3225 Perched at the top of Shortland Bluff is Australia's largest and best preserved military fortress. Fort Queenscliff was constructed in1882 to guard against enemy vessels entering Port Phillip Bay.

King Street Queenscliff VIC 3225 Fort Queenscliff Museum is Victoria’s premier coastal fortress constructed in 1882. Public tours are conducted on weekends and public holidays at 1pm and 3pm, all year round. In school holidays tours are also conducted at 11am. Group tours by appointment. |

• Read and obey the signs
• Be careful where you dive – accidents often result from diving into shallow waters.
• Be aware of slippery banks and rocks when fishing
• Don’t swim under the influence of alcohol or drugs
• Always swim under supervision
• If you get into trouble in the water, stay calm. Signal for help, then float and wait for assistance
• Float with a current or undertow. Don’t try to swim against it.
• When out on the water always wear the correct safety equipment. |
