Screw Creek Walk: Commences at the end of the Foreshore Camping Park (Esplanade). The walk takes you through mangrove mud flats and stands of Banksia and Melaleuca. Approx 1.5kms allow 40-45 minutes return. Townsend Bluff: Town walk to nearby hill with wide inlet views. Scene of many searches for alleged pirate treasure. Point Smythe: Nature Conservation Reserve on the other side of the inlet reached by boat or drive around through Venus Bay's Number 5 beach 5kms from Venus Bay but well worth the effort. | |||

Just past the Inlet Hotel on the Esplanade is the replica of the ketch - "Ripple" who operated in local waters in the late 1880's and played a big part in the establishing Inverloch as a sea port. Built in 1872 near Gosford the ketch was 57 feet long and 16 feet wide weighing 29 tons. | |||

17 kilometres of spectacular and rugged sandstone cliffs situated between Inverloch and Cape Paterson. Opportunities for all types of recreation including diving and beach activities. Note: The sancturary and conservation zones extend 1km out to sea to preserve marine life. Fishing is not permitted between The Oaks and Eagles Nest Flat Rocks: Opposite RACV Resort rock hoppers delight at low tide. Smugglers Cave: Water washed sandy floored caverns, accessible at low tide, flooded at high tide (be aware of tide movements). Eagles Nest: Most recognised landmark in the area-resembles the top half of the map of Australia. Panoramic ocean views. Shack Bay: Boardwalk to clean, sandy beach, great spot for family picnic.
