Wildlife encounters are common along the Great Ocean Road so be very aware, especially at dusk when activity is more prolific. Also be aware of vehicles following make sure you stop or divert safely. | |||

Follow the Princes Highway (M1) from Melbourne to Geelong Ring Road distance 65km (1 hour) then take the C134 through Bellbrae to the Great Ocean Road (B100) to Lorne approximately 40km. During peak periods travelling times will increase on the Great Ocean Road so you may wish to travel the (A1) to Waurn Ponds turn left to Moriac follow the Cape Otway Road turning left onto (C151) to Deans Marsh then onto Lorne. Generally a lot quicker and the roads are good. Or you can follow the (A1) to Winchelsea turn left onto (C151) to Deans Marsh then onto Lorne. | |||
