The local fishing fleet ensures a supply of fresh, local seafood especially crayfish (in season) is available to local restaurants and cafes. The fertile hills of the Otway Ranges provide an array of produce including meat, diary, vegetables, berries and wine. This produce features on the menus of many local eateries so during main holiday and special event weekends it is a good idea to make a reservation as demand usually outstrips seating capacity. Also it is a good idea to check off season opening hours as they may vary in smaller food outlets.

Apollo Bay is well served with quality restaurants including the well known Chris’ Beacon Point Restaurant a few kilometers from Skenes Creek, La Bimba in the main street near the traffic lights, Chill Tapas Bar in Pascoe Street there are als Thai and Chinese Restuarants in town.
