The main beach is located across the footbridge and is patrolled during school and public holidays, however, it is a good idea to keep an eye on the kids as there is often an under tow. The other popular beach is opposite Eastern Beach Caravan Park once again exercise care. Lakes Tyers beach opposite the hotel is also popular with families. |

Apex Park across the road from the Information Centre is the most popular location with BBQ's, tables, childrens playground and toilets.
Watch the boats being launched into the North Arm and the Pelicans going about their daily business.
