Langford Road Sorrento VIC Sorrento Golf Course is a well groomed, hilly course with all year playability set on a sand and limestone base. It's generous fairways and roughs are surrounded by densely wooded plantations, and bent grass greens are moderately to heavily bunkered. Peter Thompson Drive Fingal VIC The Open Course at Moonah Links was built and prepared for the Australian Open championship. It is one of the longest courses in Australia, and probably in the world in this category. At 6783 metres it offers more than a casual stroll in the outdoors while the newer Legends course is shorter but also challenging. The beautiful modern clubhouse is available for social functions or for relaxing after golf. Green fee players are welcome. | |||

There are six boat ramps managed by the Mornington Peninsula Shire: Mornington Schnapper Point, Melway 104 D9 Fishermans Beach Melway 145 B1 Safety Beach: Marine Drive, Melway 150 12 Rye: Jetty Launching Ramp, Melway 168 F4 Sorrento: St Aubins Way, Melway 157 B6 Hastings: Marine Parade, Melway 154 11 Annual Permits (1-Nov to 31-Oct) to use the Shire's boat ramps are available via customer service for $120.00 includes GST Daily tickets may be purchased at the ramp for $12.00 using ticket machines. There is no ticket machine at the Fishermans Beach boat ramp - users with annual permits only. Further information: 1300 850 600 or 5950 1000. | |||
