Float with a current or undertow. Do not try to swim against it.

| The main beach is located across the footbridge and is patrolled during school and public holidays, however, it is a good idea to keep an eye on the kids as there is often an under tow. The other popular beach is opposite Eastern Beach Caravan Park once again exercise care. Lakes Tyers beach opposite the hotel is also popular with families. |

| Stroll along Jemmy's Point Hill walking track to the lookout at the top of Kalimna. Plenty of places to stop and admire the views. When you reach the top, spectacular views of the Lakes system and the ninety mile beach await and you may come across a local artist capturing the scene on canvas. |
